The trial court modified the California judgments family support award of $8,750 per month by separating the family support award into a child support award of $1,580 per month and a spousal support award of $4,000 per month, resulting in an overall decrease in monthly support. We reverse on the ground that the trial court erred in concluding that father had established a basis to modify spousal support, and we remand for further proceedings.
